General conditions
We would like the client to read and confirm the Contract acceptance by signing
the Car Rental Contract. This should comply with the conditions provided for hereunder. The owner reserves the right to deny the rental of a car without any explanation. |
The client’s age
The client and the designated drivers, as specified in the present Contract, should be at least 21 years old and have a valid Driver's Licence for more than one year. Should these conditions not be complied with, a security of minimum 300 € is requested, which shall be reimbursed only upon the collection of the car in good state of functioning and of the car body, together with all the documents, accessories and equipments owned. |
Payment
Payment by credit card shall be accepted at the BNR exchange rate +2% in the day of the payment. In certain cases, upon delivery, a security of 200 to 500€ may be requested. The security shall be used for penalties, in case of damage observed inside and outside the car (200€), of car parts theft (300€), of car documents loss (100€) or of car keys loss (150€), etc. Such amount shall be reimbursed upon the collection of the car in good state of functioning and of the car body, together with all the documents, accessories and equipments owned. |
Fuel and oil
The fuel is not included in the price and shall be the client’s responsibility. The car shall be delivered with the tank full, and shall be collected in the same state. Upon the car collection for any fuel missing, as indicated on the dash board, a penalty of 1.5 €/ litre shall be calculated. The oil and the vehicle maintenance shall be the owner’s responsibility. |
Car delivery and collection
The car delivery and returning shall be done at the place, on the date and at the time specified by the client and mentioned in the Rental Contract, without additional costs, in the precinct of Bucharest. The delivery and returning may also be performed in other locations in the country, with the owner’s consent and on the grounds of an agreed fee. The car shall be delivered to the client under good general conditions, without visible or concealed flaws, any information on the car presentation conditions being referred to in the Contract. The client shall return the car with the documents, accessories and equipments at the place, on the date and at the time mentioned in the Contract. In case of delays of up to one hour, announced, no additional fee shall be charged. Upon the car returning with an announced delay three hours less than the time mentioned in the Rental Contract, an additional fee for half a rental day shall be charged and, for delays of more than three hours and additional fee for a rental day shall be charged. Upon the rental period expiry, the present Contract shall become null and void, unless agreed otherwise, and we reserve the right to notify the car to the Police as being stolen. |
The use of the car
The client undertakes to drive the rented vehicle in compliance with the legal provisions regarding the circulation on public roads as well as with other rules such as:
- the vehicle shall not be overcharged nor shall it be used for merchandise transportation;
- the vehicle shall not be used in tracks, tests or to push or trail other vehicles or trailer;
- no repairing shall be done to the car unless in authorised auto garages and only with the owner’s consent and according to his /her instructions, being reimbursed on the grounds of an Invoice submittal on the owner’s name, accompanied by the repairing estimate;
- the car shall not be left open (doors, windows, luggage compartment) nor the keys in contact;
- the vehicle shall be used in compliance with the car Operating Instructions issued by the producer thereof. |
Insurances
The vehicle is insured for third party damage caused only for the rental period as specified in the Rental Contract. The damage suffered by the rented vehicle, by the client’s fault, are insured, except an amount of 200€ to 500€, which is the client’s responsibility. The luggage carried is insured only in case of accident, for the maximum amount of 40€ /passenger. The owner does not undertake any liability for the objects left in the car, for the rental period. In case of accident, it must be necessarily notified to the Police, which shall acknowledge the damage and shall issue the Acknowledgment and Repairing Authorisation Document. These documents are requisite for the insurance functioning and for the car repairing. The notification to the Police is mandatory under all the situations when: you are guilty, you are the victim, you are involved, the responsible party is not identified (e.g.: damage in the parking lot while you were away). Without such documents, the client is liable for the repairing costs. |
Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising from the present Contract execution shall be subject to the competent Courts of Law in the precinct of Bucharest. |
